- NANCM: Effective Co-Parenting - “Does co-parenting seem impossible? Does it seem impractical? Are you asking yourself why you would want even to consider this idea? The answer to all of these questions is if you do not try co-parenting, your children are going to suffer needlessly.” (more)
- Single Parents Blog: You Might Only Be Seeing a “Piece” of Things - a great reminder for all of us on all sides of the picture
- Seth’s Blog: Solving problems - “You lean into a problem, especially a long-term or difficult one, by sitting with it, reveling in it, embracing it and breathing it in.” (more)
- Hugo Schwyzer: A very long post on how to rebuild trust - “Accountability. Transparency. Consistency.” This post isn’t about stepfamilies, but Hugo’s formula for rebuilding trust also seems like a good one for building trust in a variety of situations.
- 37days: L is for love - “There is nothing but love. Not a needy or grasping or jealous or possessive love, but an open one.” (more)

Great links, Jill.
I felt sad after reading the one about co-parenting. XH has chosen (or so it seems) to not be involved in our children’s lives for the past few years (that’s when he and his wife were stationed 5 hours away).
The article about only seeing a piece of things reminded me, again, to remember that I don’t know what is going on in XH’s household…. I only see the end result and the effect it has on our children.
Thanks for the thought provoking links.
That is sad. Just thinking about it makes me sad, too. Hug across the internet.
