Dying Man’s Daily Journal: “Don’t waste any time on foolish negativity”
Nov 14th, 2007 by Jill
“Don’t take life for granted, celebrate it, enjoy it. Don’t waste any time on foolish negativity. Every second or minute wasted is time gone forever, we can never get it back. Every minute wasted is precious time gone forever. Each of us only have a limited number of those precious minutes left on this earth. I pray all would recognize that fact and then choose not to waste a single one of our precious minutes.” — Bill Howdle, Dying Man’s Daily Journal
Bill Howdle at Dying Man’s Daily Journal has been blogging his way through knowing he’s approaching the end of his life, writing about what it is like from the patient’s perspective, sharing his ideas about how to support the family, and sharing his thoughts on life. When I visit his site, I’m not just reminded love and to listen and to slow down and approach life with gentleness and honesty, but I also see an example of someone holding up a light in the middle of all of life’s challenges and then some. When I visit Bill’s site, I feel his light, and it makes me want to pay attention to that light inside myself, and feed it and hold it up, too.

Jill I feel so honored that you would choose to quote something I have written.
I comment and congratulate both of you ladies on the wonderful job you are doing with your site. You can help so many. Please keep it up
Bill
