Izzy Rose of Stepmother’s Milk and Samara of Simplicity in the Suburbs are planning a retreat for stepmoms this summer, August 8-11, in Austin, Texas.

I’m sure a lot of women would be excited to meet you… perhaps the two of you could do a little talk about getting along and posing for fabulous photo shoots together

Kathy, yes — you should come! I plan on dropping by, at least for a little bit and I would LOVE to meet both of you. Hell, you’re even welcome to sleep in our guest room! And you need to meet Carol too (the stepmom in our little equation)! Izzy’s really cool and I think it’s wonderful she’s putting this together. : )
Austin may be scorching in the summer, but there are lots of ways to stay cool. Here’s one:
