* We Doughtie folk have some fond Xbox/Rock Band memories, too. One night Kathy invited us over for dinner with a friend of hers, and after dinner we four grownups kicked the kids off the Xbox and made music together. Kathy played drums, I sang, G played the guitar and Kathy’s friend played the bass. And the kids (who also had friends over) showed us how to use our instruments. And laughed at us just a little. But mostly they cheered us on. Or played in the other room. Or all of the above.
