We've had similar success with baked potato night. Over Christmas break, we had a vegetarian, four flexatarians, a pescaterian, a carnivore and a toddler at the table. Everybody found something to enjoy among the bowls of toppings: garlic mushrooms, cheddar cheese, steamed broccoli, sauteed chicken, chili, sour cream, butter, salt and pepper. You control the vertical and the horizontal by presenting the choices, but everyone feels like they're in control of their own dinner. Priceless! Hooray for tacos!
