Holiday tip #6: Get a little extra professional help
Dec 14th, 2007 by Jill
If you feel like you could use it, find a counselor or a coach to talk you through your plans, fears and hopes for the holidays.
Last year I happened to find hypnotherapist a month or so before the holidays. She gave a lunchtime talk at work on reducing stress during the holidays. Her advice was solid and helpful, and she had a genuine, friendly, warm vibe, and I liked her right away. When she mentioned at the end of her talk that she had a private hypnotherapy practice, I got her phone number and scheduled a couple of appointments to work on holiday issues. They helped a LOT.
