The day before Thanksgiving, Kathy and Jack and I went to see Enchanted together. Susan Sarandon plays a very evil stepmother, and when she emerged from the sewer shooting green lightning out of her fingertips and wagging her tongue, Jack reached over Kathy, patted me on the knee and said, “Don’t worry Jill. That’s not what it’s really like.”
I love that kid.
